Leyla Is Arrested
The episode opens with Leyla being arrested after gold coins are discovered in her home. She is accused of theft, even though she insists that she has done nothing wrong. Munise, the young woman from the Kozan household who has quietly helped Leyla, is arrested as well. Ceyhun Atahanlı learns that Zeki is connected to the complaint against Leyla. Suspicious of the accusation, he decides to investigate instead of accepting the allegations at face value. He arranges legal help, and the lack of convincing evidence eventually allows Leyla and Munise to leave custody.
Their release does not end the conflict. Outside the police station, Leyla sees Celadet and openly accuses her of being behind the entire setup. Celadet responds with anger and slaps Leyla, showing that she is not prepared to tolerate being challenged in public.
Ceyhun steps between the two women and protects Leyla from further humiliation. His actions put him directly against Celadet and create another complication for the Kozan and Atahanlı families. He is connected to the family through his engagement, yet he is now standing beside the very woman Celadet wants to remove from their lives.
Munise is also struggling with guilt. She admits to Leyla that she had been trying to discover who took Emir to his mother on that important day. Celadet wants to know who helped Leyla escape with the child, but Leyla refuses to reveal Hanzade’s involvement. Despite everything that has happened to her, Leyla will not betray someone simply to protect herself.

Ceyhun Questions Leyla About Berlin
Later, Ceyhun visits Leyla at home. He apologizes again for his earlier indecent proposal, acknowledging the shame and pain connected to his behaviour. Leyla appreciates the help he has given her, but she makes it clear that her main purpose has not changed: she wants to reunite with Emir.
During their conversation, Ceyhun asks whether Leyla saw Zeki in Berlin. The question gives him a new lead and connects Leyla’s present troubles with events from her past. Ceyhun begins to suspect that the accusation may be part of a much larger attempt to manipulate the situation and damage Leyla’s chances of finding the truth.
Zeki Reveals Celadet’s Plan
Ceyhun confronts Zeki and demands to know who arranged for the gold to be planted in Leyla’s home. Zeki, who holds deep resentment toward the Kozan family, eventually reveals what he knows. According to his confession, Celadet was behind the plan, while Kenan knew nothing about it.
The revelation changes the meaning of the arrest. Leyla was not simply caught in an unfortunate misunderstanding; she was targeted as part of a deliberate scheme. Zeki’s willingness to expose Celadet also shows that his own hostility toward the Kozans may be just as dangerous as their internal conflicts. He wants the family to suffer, and revealing the truth is another way to weaken them from within.
Kenan Faces a Painful Truth
Ceyhun takes the revelation to Kenan. He tells him that Leyla was framed and challenges the image Kenan has accepted about his mother and his former love. Kenan’s reaction reveals how deeply divided he remains. He admits that he loved Leyla and that his feelings have not disappeared, but he is still haunted by what he believes he saw in Berlin.
Kenan cannot easily forget the painful image of Leyla in a brothel and in the company of another man.
